Nature  (Can Science find current problems of Nature: Water?)

Introduction

Can Science find current problems of Nature: Water?

(Observed: Man achieves to build a far away no-man’s spacecraft, seemingly absolutely fool-proof)

New Approach to Cosmic Lithium in the Early Universe
(Observed: Lithium disappears, which shake our fundamentals about ‘Big Bang’)

5. Quantum Mechanics

(Observed: Magnets and Human, tryst with each other, to find out ‘Who is stronger: Will of Humans pitched to that of ‘Will of strongest materials’ around)

Behaviors of the Tiniest Water Droplets Revealed
(Observed: Drops of Water which gives us motion, studied. However question remains on ‘Complex Society-like structure of Water’)

6. Brain

Four New Gene Loci Predisposing People to the Most Common Subtype of Migraine
(Observed: America gets a ‘Bolt’ in the Head, looses control of 4 genes. Might have implications worldwide, if you eat a lot of fast-food. You might like to add lettuce, though if you do, a lot of them)

New Hope for Migraine Sufferers: Female Gene Link Identified
(Observed: Migraine crashes into a female, causes pain to nearly 12% population of an island)

Findings Reveal Brain Mechanisms at Work During Sleep
(Observed: How a Brain works in Sleep)

7. Gene Therapy

Immune Cells Hold Back Gene Therapy
(Observed: ‘Streets of Philadelphia’ take a hit)

(Observed: Language Suffers in Children causing, Harmful Brain Activity)

Conclusion:

Science finds Water and more in Life.

Work Tuesday (Can Science find the ‘Idea of Nature’?)

Introduction

Can Science find the ‘Idea of Nature’?

Meat:

1. Astrophysics

Hubble Sees the Eye of the Storm in Galaxy Cluster
(Observed: A violent Star Cluster, observed, probably practising boxing)

Most Distant Dwarf Galaxy Detected
(Observed: Probably the Sun and Moon mutated)

2. Quantum Mechanics

How to Unbalance Nothingness: Physicists Calculate the Time Development of the Vacuum Decay
(Observed: Nothingness, studied. Might be similar to origin and end of Universe)

Unusual Electrons Go With the Flow
(Observed: Electrons innovate, now flow on the surface of materials)

3. Nobel Prize

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1950
Otto Diels, Kurt Alder
The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1950 was awarded jointly to Otto Paul Hermann Diels and Kurt Alder “for their discovery and development of the diene synthesis”
(Observed: A Type of Synthesis and Molecule which when added, stops growth, discovered. Probably our option to live forever might be realized as we can know how death works)

4. Brain

‘Bilingual’ Neurons May Reveal the Secrets of Brain Disease
(Observed: Brain communicates via two means, gets a bit luxurious)

New Brain Nerve Cells Key to Stress Resilience
(Observed: Now two mouse exchange views to stress uniquely)

5. Gene Therapy

(Observed: A Gene identified which controls many other genes, and makes people mad worldwide, approx 2% affected)

New Gene May Intensify Breast Cancer Growth
(Observed: A Gene which acts as a wire intensifies Breast Cancer)

6. Environment

Unprecedented Arctic Ozone Loss Last Winter
(Observed: A Hole in Arctic created due to human pollution, unobserved till now. Only in Antarctica we have found ozone depletion)

Environmental Concerns Increasing Infectious Disease in Amphibians, Other Animals
(Observed: Amphibians loose competitive survival edge, on to the way of becoming extinct)

7. Evolution

Moon & Beyond

Moon & Beyond

Humanity makin
a beeline

Out when
they came
naked

Into the
Nature flowin

For the
fruits n
glory

They build
their palaces

Enjoyin the
sunshine around

A young
man

Woken by
an apple

Finds the
seeds of
future

Out surges
mankind

Once again
from palaces

To the
playground

Rockets, movies
and strawberries

In the
paradise

Out comes
the flood
again

Humanity once
again to
the fore

To the
Moon and
beyond

What is Life?

July 22, 2012

What is Life?

Everyone needs
a break

That’s where
the fall

In the
world

As the
day begins

From the
cartoonist

To the
man in
white

They all
waitin for
a hunt

A swipe
of the
card

And the
magic begins

You taken
to the
big wheel

And to
the dive
in pool

The food
in the
bags

To excite
your spirit

The night
brings in
you

Struggle and
the fights

You all
alone

Wonder “What
is Life”

Nature – II (Sky)

March 21, 2011

Sky

( These are short & simple series of blogs on Nature. It’s only for my understanding. There is no rocket science behind these blogs )

I was indifferent about Sky, Sun, Moon and the stars in my childhood. As I grew up, I saw the most wonderful view of the Sky at my friend’s village (I even saw a shooting star). It still has an incomparable impact on me. Then I got interested  in Astronomy while I was working for the Biotech field (Credit to my Mentors).

Astronomy

Light from Sun bends over masses and that is why intersection of Light rays with each other produces different colors at the horizons. Hence when the Sun is setting or rising, one can see orange, red and blue sky due to the proximity of light rays to the earth’s surface. And all other interesting colors.

Light

Whereas when the Sun is overhead, the light directly reaches us without any interference and hence one can only see blue sky.
So what is the Sky we see. Is it a mass surrounding us? Well what see is only an interplay of light and its reflection. What it is really, it is yet to be explored (Is it never-ending or does it have an end? Mebbe we will explore in later blogs).
