The American Dream in East

The American Dream in East

You hear
the tale

Of Americans
throwin out
their kids

At a
young age
of 10

It is
no more
home

They need
to sweat

And find
their own
place

In the
big world

You in
the East

Spankin from
the elders

Wonder when
am I
gonna be
in the
West

You start
with Levis

And then
the blues

Become a
boy with
golden locks

Off to
America

You become
a stranger

Earn the
mega bucks

And the
stars

Back home,
they read
about you

In the
papers

And wonder
why haven’t
you called
back home

Caution: This might be all theory
