Animal Life

Animal Life

The common
man toilin
in the sun

There is
no respite

The rich
man with
his leash

And not
a soul
around

It is
all blood
& sweat

Drippin into
the palaces

You must
cross a
mile

Before you
quench your
thirst

The marks
on your
back

Its time
to go
back

The night
comes

You retire
into your
hut

There is
pain everywhere

And no
energy around

You gulp
a piece
of bread

To get
up into
the toil
of tomorrow

Man, this
is just
not humanity

It is
the sin
of animal
life

Which you
must not
pass on

To the
child awaiting
you

Caution: This might be all theory
