China – A Short Summary
I have been always wondering what is China as an inhabitant of India and still to make my way to China. Here are my learnings from what I have read from the net mostly. A summary of the same.
1. It is one of the Oldest Civilizations (Confucius). It is also the Origin of most of the East Countries: Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and more.
2. It invented the Compass – one of the most important discoveries of the Pre-Dark Ages fostering discovery.
4. During the Dark Ages, it lost its way and missed the Industrial Revolution, Nuclear, Automobile Revolution and Computer & Internet Revolution.
5. It rose to the top of the World by Liberalization in 1980’s. It has become the de-facto manufacturing joint Of the World (Cars, Electronics to Computers)

Deng Xiaoping
6. They are reverse engineering kings. They can tear apart a foreign plane and manufacture their own planes.
7. They had a flawless Olympics recently which demonstrates not only their spirit but their infrastructure too.
All in all it is a force to reckon with in the future. Only if it turns to democracy – European or American style. This would foster innovation, create talent for the future and the country would be more accepted across the World. Then there would be no stopping China to regain its lost glory as a foremost Civilization’s of the World.
Caution: This might be all theory
